cedar wildlife hospital open day Cedar Wildlife Sanctuary can be found at 25 Cedar Avenue, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Notts. Wendy Radford opened the sanctuary in the early 1990’s. Since then Wendy has taken in thousands of wild animals and has nursed them back to health. Those that were beyond help were allowed to die with dignity, and with as little pain as possible.
Her patients have included Squirrels, Rabbits, Foxes, Owls, Hawks, Swallows, Geese, Ducks, Swans, Grebes, Kingfishers, Woodpeckers, Crows, Herons, Hedgehogs to name but a few. Wendy is an accomplished artist and teacher, and takes commissions to help fund the sanctuary. Wendy has a wealth of knowledge and contacts so if you have a question or find a wild animal in distress, she is always willing to help.
She can be contacted on 07792 475736 or email her on info@cedarwildlifesanctuary.co.uk
We are currently working on a new website with movies, new photographs etc. It should be up and running early November.
